Dear Friends,  Welcome to JUNE....  I am scratching my head wondering what has happened to  May!!!!  My Goodness---Guess I'm just getting old!!!!!

George and I took a little day trip to our local state park here,  Cumberland Mountain State Park,  this past Sunday (5/28/22) ... It was a beautiful sunny, clear and warm (but not hot) day...  SO PERFECT!!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at their restaurant --and then did some walking along the lake front taking pictures and watching all of the people enjoying the day!

Here are 8 pictures from our day!!!!!   Catch me up on your June plans!!!!!  We will celebrate our Anniversary week (June 23) at one of our favorite places,  Pisgah Inn along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina....

Look at that delicious dinner we had (fried chicken, roast beef,  mashed potatoes,  creamed corn,  green beans,  salad, Iced Tea,  and some of the best Banana Pudding EVER)!!!!

The view from our table in the restaurant!!!

People taking advantage of the beautiful day on the lake;  See the Row Boat?  Now look closely at the front of the boat!!!!!  See the big dog leading the way!!! ha

Some of the Mountain Laurel in full bloom

Whether it was Kayaking or in Row Boats,  people were really enjoying their day as much as we were.

The   'world famous' bridge at Cumberland Mountain State Park

People were fishing on both sides of the lake.

Here's two OLD PEOPLE who are having a great day!!!!   Look at that gorgeous sky!!!!

Well---- that was our special day!!!!    Hope you are well and staying healthy and happy!!!!

Have an awesome month!!

Hugs,

Betsy💝💛💚💕

It looks like you and George had a wonderful time Betsy. Our June plans include a camping trip to the Black Hills in SD. We're planning to take Piper with us. She's never been there so we're looking forward to showing her the sights. Hopefully she won't be bored. She's in Paris this week and London next week with her Dad & Mom. Camping with Grandpa and Grandma might be boring after that. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

Such a nice place to spend the day. We had a wonderful hike today followed by late lunch/early dinner at a restaurant we've visited before in Hillsborough NH. Plans for the month - a visit to Buffalo to get acquainted with granddaughter #4. She's out of the infant stage and is a little person at almost 4 months old. Her personality is showing now.

Your header has a WOW factor. Enjoyed the photos and gonna be early and wish you Tennessee Lovebirds a wonderful anniversary. The brief cool down after the rain today was welcomed but its got hot again. Maybe the weekend will be enjoyable before the triple digits arrive on Monday. Peace

Not intentionally, just that the gets away form me. I have certainly enjoyed all of your flower pictures. I know your neighbors are so jealous of your gorgeous yard.
