More LILIES and DAY LILIES in our Yard -- June 2017

BUTTERED POPCORN DAY LILIES  6/16/17  (This is one of our best bloomers every year.)
A month ago,   I published a similar post showing some of our Lilies and Day Lilies... IF you missed that post,  you can click HERE to see it...   TODAY ---I'm featuring more of our Lilies and Day Lilies blooming in our yard this  past month.

We have enjoyed quite a bit of RAIN this spring (and summer so far) ---so  the plants and flowers are enjoying this weather (much better than that horrible drought we had last year).   Hope you enjoy the photos today---starting with my header picture at the top of my blog....  Those lilies (PURPLE PRINCE) are just beautiful,  don't you think?   Get some coffee or tea and sit back and enjoy the pictures!!!!

Not only are they all so pretty but I just love some of the names. I think anyone who names a flower Indian giver has got to have a great sense of humor. Or even the hush little baby, fooled me or buttered popcorn

I wish I lived closer so I could drop by to see them too. They are very pretty and there are so many different colours.

I enjoyed the tour very much.

You got some great pictures of the blossoms in our yard. And the best thing about these beauties is that most of the day lilies will bloom again in a couple of months.

Beautiful, beautiful flowers. If I had to pick just one favourite it would be the Hush Little Baby Daylily. I am partial to the pinks, although in flowers I do love all the colors. Yes,I wish I lived closer. My camera and I would make frequent visits to the 'Adams Flower Sanctuary and Gardens'. There, now your yard has been given a name, at least by me. Hugs my friend.

They're all so beautiful, Betsy. I'm so glad you're getting the rain this year.

Absolutely stunning! So happy that the moisture is there for you this year. We're starting in on fires again up here. :-( I thought all of the snow we had would help with that this year.
Blessings,
Betsy

Your lilies are gorgeous, Betsy! We have lots of them too, easy to grow and so pretty to look at. The Golden Splendor is so bright and pretty, I'll be looking for that one. Thanks for the pretty post. Have a wonderful week! Hugs

What a stunning collection you have. Who knew they came in such a variety of forms and colors. What a delight your yard must be. It would be fun being your neighbor. All the pleasure and none of the work.

Betsy, Your flower beds boggle my mind! My favorite lilies from this grouping are the Muscadet, Paper Butterfly and the Goldband. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Love all your day lilies! You're better organized than we are to have a record of all the names. We did when we bought them, but over time .... But our first day lily did bloom about four days ago, so we're catching up. Shows the difference in seasons, eh?

Wow! Well, your header smacked me in the face with beauty! You have so many different kinds! You could really start a garden center!! You have more variety than most of them. Now on to my favorites! The yellow Tiger Lily (I finally saw and snapped some!) Hush Little Baby, & Ed Brown. So those are Canna lilies! They look like Hostas to me, but with smaller leaves.

I like them all of course but I do like the Lilies better than the day ones. Why I just dunno.
We have several varieties of Asiatic and Oriental Lilies but their names well I am just not as organized as you.
