Our Daylilies and Lilies
We have had 14 different varieties of named Daylilies in our yard this year. I posted one blog already listing several of our daylilies. Click HERE to see those Daylilies. Today, I will show you nine more of these beauties. Above is one of my favorites named SPELLBINDER. I wish you could see this one in person. It is brilliant--and the photos don't show this brilliance. Below are more!!
This one is named BAMA BOUND.... All of you Alabama fans will love this one. For us Tennessee Orange Volunteers, WELL----we wouldn't choose this one!!! ha ha
These cuties are named BICOLOR.
Another of my favorites----named CUSTARD CANDY
I love the name of this Daylily. It is called EYE-YI-YI.
This beauty is named FRED HAM. (Don't ask me where these names came from????)
This pretty one is named ROSIE MEYER.
I love this Daylily. Its name is DARING DECEPTION.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Finally, we had one more LILY to bloom. That makes our total this year at 24 different varieties. This one is similar to Stargazer. However, it has alot of white on the ends. Its name is MERO STAR.
Hope you have enjoyed seeing all of our Lilies and Daylilies.
Hugs,

They are so beautiful!!!Your garden must be so colourful:)Thanks for sharing.
I'm amazed that you know the names of all the varieties!
I'm very fond of the daylilies in my gardens but I don;t remember all their names. ;-)
Beautiful! I'm guessing you have name tags by each one. How else could you keep up with them!
Beautiful! These are so beautiful!!!
I feel jealous about you.
Oooh, Daring Deception is so unusual. I love that one! I'll bet your garden is just gorgeous with all these daylilies and your roses, too.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Betsy: Just when I pick a favorite you show another great offering.
Betsy these are beautiful but how do you know the names of all of them?
Gorgeous as ever Betsy! Do you ever cut some to bring inside?
They are absolutely beautiful! I would have a hard time leaving the garden with all those lilies and roses.
Ooooooooooo what gorgeous flowers you have! Nothing put a smile on my face quicker than a daylily!--Randy
BEAUTIFUL!! Such gorgeous eye-candy! Enjoyed your previous posts too and am glad to see the blue-birds. She's a little plain, but he is striking, lol! Nice to meet George's side of the family! I'll be checking his blog tonight - have to work extra shifts this week. Have a great day.
Betsy, these are all gorgeous I like the last one Mero Star a lot...
Those are some unusual orange ones! Love the bi-color.
Very colorful, I would hate to know I had to pick a favorite!
They are all equally beautiful..I could not pick a favorite!
Beautiful - just beautiful!!
You have so many different kinds of lillies and roses. It must be a lot of work to keep up with them.
Have you accumulated all these different varities over a long period of time? All kinds of birds and butterflies must love living in your yard. You are very blessed!
Have a beautiful day!...Janice
Your yard must be a blaze of color. I love the lilies, they're so fragrant and showy. Thanks for the tour, I love the Custard Candy the best, second it the one similar to the Stargazer.
I'm not so good at remembering names of people-how in the world would I ever remember all these names?! ha.
Beautiful Betsy-enjoy!
Some of those names are funny like Eye-YI-YI and Fred Ham. I love Daring Deception with the yellow-green center. Amazing collection!
what fun names for these exquisite beauties.
You are amazing knowing every name of each flower! wow. I love the 'bama bound!! I need that one!!! But my favorite is the mero star. That is fabo!! xo
I think we need to re-name Bi-color too - needs something more fitting all the beauty!
Love the Custard Candy one. So pretty - all of them.

Those are gorgeous, Betsy. I think I like the Mero Star the best. It's so exotic looking.
By the way, I loved your birds and their favorite songs post. It brought a big smile to my face.
:-D
Gotta say that i do like the Bama Bound. Maybe someday I'll get back to Bama and look around where I used to live for a while. My stargazers are almost gone by now.
They are all just beautiful Betsy. Have a great day.
Gorgeous, Betsy. I love Daylilies and plan on adding to my poor, one little yellow lily next year. (It may be the only one, but it blooms, bloom, blooms). Spellbinder is something. Think I'll look for that one and Daring Deception. Thanks for starting my list! :D :D
Lovely, lovely, lovely! My own lilies are done for the season! It's sort of sad to look out and see no new blossoms.
You have a wonderful variety, AND you know their names. Good on you and George!
It's hotter than heck warmed over here, but I think we may be due for some cooler weather. Much needed and will be welcomed!
Gorgeous, gorgeous lilies lady!
oooh oooh Custard Candy, I'll take it for supper ;)
Just beautiful Betsy, nothing short of spectacular !
The only one you show here that I have is Eye-Yi-Yi. Daring Deception is similiar to 3 different ones I have, Sweet Summer Valentine, Canadian Border Patrol, and right now I can't even think of the other name. I think this is a look all the hybrids have been working toward in the past several years, for there to be so many different ones out there that are so similiar. You think the Brilliant Buccaneer has anything to do with that sports team? It is gorgeous. Think that might be my pick, but as you can tell by the number of varieties I have I do have a VERY hard time making a decision about what is my favorite.
Looking at your blog is better than any flower catolog.I love all the bright colors,so cheerful.
Blessings,Ruth
So many varieties! You have a breathtaking garden! and quite the "shutter" eye. Keep em coming. I love them all! Love and Light, Nina P.
Betsy, how do you keep track of all the names? Do you have them tagged as someone above asked?
They are all so beautiful, my favorite is the last one Mero Star.
My Tiger Lilies just bloomed, my garden is so far behind.
Hugs,
Judy
Betsy, I'm laughing because at first when I read Fred Ham I thought it said "Fried Ham," and I thought what a strange name for a flower!! Gorgeous all of them!
Oh Betsy, such beautiful flowers. The colors just knock your socks off.
So when you got the map out did you find Stanwood? I live about 12 miles from town--north and east on the east side of I-5. Up in the woods. MB
Betsy, they are all so beautiful. I really would have a hard time picking a favorite.
I just love these.
I love them and I have two different kinds and don't know their names. I will have to post photos of them when it stops raining...or if it stops raining...Michelle
They are all so gorgeous, Betsy! With all the flowers that you have, you must have the most beautiful yard around.
