Our Daylilies and Lilies

We have had 14 different varieties of named Daylilies in our yard this year. I posted one blog already listing several of our daylilies. Click HERE to see those Daylilies. Today, I will show you nine more of these beauties. Above is one of my favorites named SPELLBINDER. I wish you could see this one in person. It is brilliant--and the photos don't show this brilliance. Below are more!!

This one is named BAMA BOUND.... All of you Alabama fans will love this one. For us Tennessee Orange Volunteers, WELL----we wouldn't choose this one!!! ha ha

These cuties are named BICOLOR.

Another of my favorites----named CUSTARD CANDY

I love the name of this Daylily. It is called EYE-YI-YI.

This beauty is named FRED HAM. (Don't ask me where these names came from????)

This pretty one is named ROSIE MEYER.

I love this Daylily. Its name is DARING DECEPTION.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Finally, we had one more LILY to bloom. That makes our total this year at 24 different varieties. This one is similar to Stargazer. However, it has alot of white on the ends. Its name is MERO STAR.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing all of our Lilies and Daylilies.

Hugs,

You have so many different kinds of lillies and roses. It must be a lot of work to keep up with them.
Have you accumulated all these different varities over a long period of time? All kinds of birds and butterflies must love living in your yard. You are very blessed!

Have a beautiful day!...Janice

Your yard must be a blaze of color. I love the lilies, they're so fragrant and showy. Thanks for the tour, I love the Custard Candy the best, second it the one similar to the Stargazer.

Gorgeous, Betsy. I love Daylilies and plan on adding to my poor, one little yellow lily next year. (It may be the only one, but it blooms, bloom, blooms). Spellbinder is something. Think I'll look for that one and Daring Deception. Thanks for starting my list! :D :D

Lovely, lovely, lovely! My own lilies are done for the season! It's sort of sad to look out and see no new blossoms.

You have a wonderful variety, AND you know their names. Good on you and George!

It's hotter than heck warmed over here, but I think we may be due for some cooler weather. Much needed and will be welcomed!

Just beautiful Betsy, nothing short of spectacular !

The only one you show here that I have is Eye-Yi-Yi. Daring Deception is similiar to 3 different ones I have, Sweet Summer Valentine, Canadian Border Patrol, and right now I can't even think of the other name. I think this is a look all the hybrids have been working toward in the past several years, for there to be so many different ones out there that are so similiar. You think the Brilliant Buccaneer has anything to do with that sports team? It is gorgeous. Think that might be my pick, but as you can tell by the number of varieties I have I do have a VERY hard time making a decision about what is my favorite.

They are all so beautiful, my favorite is the last one Mero Star.

My Tiger Lilies just bloomed, my garden is so far behind.

Betsy, I'm laughing because at first when I read Fred Ham I thought it said "Fried Ham," and I thought what a strange name for a flower!! Gorgeous all of them!

Oh Betsy, such beautiful flowers. The colors just knock your socks off.

So when you got the map out did you find Stanwood? I live about 12 miles from town--north and east on the east side of I-5. Up in the woods. MB
