My Birds Name their Favorite Songs

I don't know about you----but my backyard birds talk to me!!!! Recently, I asked them to list their favorite songs. SO---here they are just for you!!!! Above, one of our Brown Thrashers told me his favorite song. Since he and his lady just had 3 new babies, he said that his favorite song is ROCK A BYE BABY. Appropriate, don't you think???? Below are others.

Mourning Dove: HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN

Mama Robin and baby: WHEN THE RED, RED ROBIN COMES BOB-BOB-BOBBIN' ALONG

A young House Finch (I think): THANK GOD, I'M A COUNTRY BOY

female Goldfinch: AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH

Some kind of Wren (????): BORN TO BE WILD

Mourning Dove: TIP TOE THROUGH THE TULIPS

male Goldfinch: SHE GOT THE RING, AND I GOT THE FINGER

young Tufted Titmouse: SHAKE YOUR BOOTY

male Cardinal: IF MY NOSE WERE FULL OF NICKELS, I'D BLOW IT ALL ON YOU

Mourning Dove at the birdbath: SITTIN' ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY

baby Cardinal: WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN' GOIN' ON

baby Mourning Dove: MAMA, GET THE HAMMER (THERE'S A FLY ON PAPA'S HEAD)

My birds have quite a sense of humor, don't they????? ha ha ha.... Hope you enjoyed hearing about their favorite songs!!!!!!

Hugs,

LOL! That was fun :)
I've never seen a mourning dove before. It looks like its head is too small for its body.

Very imaginative...and cute post!

The picture of the momma and baby robin reminded me of a book I used to read to my children about Itty Bitty Robin--a baby robin who was afraid to fly. The momma kept saying, "Fwy, Baby, Fwy."

Thanks for the good memories.
