My Birthday Boy

Georgie has a birthday tomorrow...  We are going to have a FABULOUS weekend!!!!!  SO--today's blog is ALL about him!!!!  I truly am the most blessed woman in the entire world.  There's NOBODY who could make me more happy than he does.   I had a LONG list of what I wanted in a man ---and God gave me everything I wanted PLUS more.  Thank You, George,  for coming into my life and bringing me so much happiness and love. 

Today,  I'm going to honor George by sharing SIX of his special photos --which he loves taking with his special filters and his tripod when we are near moving water.  These six photos were taken on January 23, 2013 when we were enjoying the Smokies, in the Tremont area.  Please click on the photos for enlargements.

We were lucky to be in the Smokies during a time when there was high water.  I have more of George's great photos, that I'll show you another time. These were when we were at the Greenbrier area of the Smokies on January 24, 2013.  I think the Greenbriar photos are even prettier than the Tremont ones, if that is possible.  Hope you enjoy seeing these gorgeous photos.    

It is fun for me to watch George as he takes photographs.  This is such a PASSION of his ---and when he's enjoying himself,  then I am also enjoying watching him, and being with him.

NEW PHOTO BLOG

Since I write long and detailed blog posts,   I know that some of you (if you are busy like me) would prefer a shorter blog.   Unless you are 'into' traveling like we are,  my blogs may be boring to you.  SO---I'm giving you an alternative (although it still involves some photos from our trips and adventures).

I am starting a Photo Blog ---which I will alternate  (at least once a week) with this blog.  That will give you busy people a choice ---and I hope you enjoy it.  I have been frustrated lately, feeling as if some people are tired of my long blog posts.  After reading Theresa's post on Blogging on Sunday,  all of this frustration just poured out of me.  SO--I had a long chat with my hero, my hubby,  and he gave me the suggestion of adding a Photo Blog.  AHA---I'm going to try it.
