APRIL BRINGS OUT THE TULIPS

Welcome to APRIL,  another favorite month of mine.  March brought us Daffodils,  Crocus,  and Hyacinths.    April will bring us Tulips and Irises.   Isn't Spring marvelous?

If you keep up with me on Facebook,  then you know that my middle son, Mark,  was diagnosed with CANCER.   He is a home builder and works outdoors most of the time.  That sun caused a Melanoma on his face which was cancerous and had spread to several Lymph Nodes.  A PET Scan  revealed that the cancer had NOT spread any farther,  thanks be to God.   SO --on March 25,   he  had surgery to get the cancer on his face out and also to take several Lymph Nodes.  It was a 6 hour surgery --but as of today,  he is doing quite well.  He had the drain removed today and on Friday he will get his stitches out.  Then after he is completely healed,  he will have Radiation Treatments to keep the cancer from returning....

As you can imagine,  this has been very hard on this Old Mama...  I lost my first son to Thyroid Cancer in 2023....  I certainly didn't want to lose another child.     SO---I turned it all over to God and asked for prayers from loved ones and friends....  So far,  everything is going GREAT.    But--I will ask for continued  prayers for Mark as he continues to heal and continues with the Radiation..   THANKS.

Other than this,  George and I are doing well.   George had his 84th Birthday in March --and I'll turn 84 in August....

Have a great APRIL.Enjoy some of the Tulips we have seen through the years.

Much Love,

GEORGE and BETSY

We have certainly seen some beautiful tulips over the years, even if the critters keep eating the ones we have planted in our yard!

Your tulip pictures are so beautiful. I have not seen any yet in my neck of the woods.
I did not know about your son's cancer, but am glad he is doing well.
