I must share some new family news with you today.... See Lil Miss Grinch??? Don't you just love her shirt????? ha ha .... She's a happy little girl because she is going to have a LITTLE SISTER in MAY.... The new baby's name will be Veronica... Isn't that just awesome?!!!!!! I'm so excited...
Have a wonderful Christmas, my dear friends, and thanks for hanging in there with me during this very difficult year healthwise... Hopefully, Santa will bring me a new dose of energy!

Betsy, such a beautiful picture of you and George!!! All the trees at Biltmore are beautiful but I must say "Your Tree" stood out as the most beautiful. The reason I say that is it has a "warm glow" emitting from it. As a child I grew up with the colored lights, and although the white are pretty, I prefer the colored.

Betsy, Biltmore is indeed a beautiful place...any time of the year. Christmas is special for sure. Vivian Lee looks like she could be a handful! As for great grandchildren, it will be a while for us... Our oldest grandson is only 18 and he'll start college in late 2019. Assuming 4 years of college and a couple of years in the real world, I will really be an 'oldster' before I have a chance for any great grandchildren! Merry Christmas! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

The Biltmore trees are amazing, but your tree is just as beautiful. Vivian Lee is growing up so fast! I'll bet she and Veronica will be best buds, being so close in age. Do you think there'll be a Valerie in the future? :)
