Merry Christmas 2015

2014  Christmas
From our home to yours,  we wish each and everyone of you a Blessed and Joyful and Happy Christmas.  We have had another great year --and I will put together a summary of our life during 2015,  for you next week--as we begin another year!!!

My blogging has definitely taken a back seat this year,  and I will admit that I do miss it --and YOU.  But--I still am enjoying Facebook,  more than ever before.  I do love to blog --but I also love Facebook since it is much easier to stay current with friends and family.  If you are on Facebook and are not following me there,  I'd love to add you to my list...  AND--maybe in 2016--I'll do a better job with my blogging also!!

Here are some pictures through the years of George and me at various Christmases.  I posted a similar blog 2-3 years ago---but have some newer/other pictures to share... Hope you enjoy them!!!!!

2001---our FIRST Christmas together

Two Crazies having fun in 2004

2005 Christmas

2009 Christmas

In 2011---right after my horrible hernia surgery, and when I made the ultimate decision to get the weight off and KEEP it off;  (Four years later,  it's still working!)

Collage of pictures we took at Christmas in 2012

Oh---how we LOVE to have fun!!!!  Silly People for sure!

Christmas 2013

Being silly in 2014----right before my 2nd knee surgery on that stinkin' left knee!!!

One of my favorite pictures of us EVER....2012
My hope for you is that in 2016,  you will get out and enjoy life, laugh a lot, and have oodles of fun,  whatever you do and wherever you go...  AND---like us,  do everything you can to stay as healthy as possible.  God Bless You.

Merry Christmas!

Hugs,

Merry Christmas to you, too.

My friend sent a photo from the Christmas shop at Calabash. It's close to their new house. I'll see her tomorrow evening. They are in town for Christmas with their sons and will be here for dinner.

Hope you and George have a great Christmas over on The Plateau. Don't think you need to waste a wish on a white Christmas this year - rainy and 70's just doesn't get it.

Hi Betsy, Merry Christmas to you too! Have an enjoyable week. I hope you get to see your birds at the feeder or in your yards. I also hope you see some deer at a distance and not in your flowers. Have a fine day today!

Merry Christmas, dear Betsy and George. I love going down the years with you. You are both such FUN! I LOVE the 2014 Christmas photo of you and can't wait to see 2015! Yes, I was the organist for the Methodist in Marquard from 1994 until 2006. They only had services every second Sunday. The alternate Sundays I accompanied my own church in a town nearby (well, 34 km away) the Anglican Church. In 2006 I moved to the Christian Center Church here Marquard and sat back with a sigh. I no longer had to accompany the congregation on the organ. Not to be. My daughter-in-law, Amanda was the band leader and asked me to play in the band on a keyboard. I play the piano and organ (from the smallest bellows-operated organ to the largest pipe organ sporting three keyboards) so it was no problem to learn the charismatic songs on a modern instrument. I studied singing as a young girl and still love to sing which we did with gusto on Sunday night and again last night caroling through the streets. I have posted about this on FB. Merry Christmas to you and George. Blessings, Jo

For last one month I too was more active on Facebook than blog, since torrential rain started to flood here. Wonderful to view your Christmas photos in past, bearing lot of cheers and happiness along with George. Hope you stay there carrying all these forever your life... and thus continue to be active hiking and enjoying. Merry Christmas and very Happy and Healthy New Year :)
