Lilies in our Yard --Part I

Crimson Pixie Lily -- taken on 5/10/14
Many of our LILIES have not bloomed yet --but I do have 12 to share with you today.  We have trouble with Chipmunks/Squirrels digging up our Lily and Tulip bulbs (thinking they are nuts).. SO---we don't have as many Lilies as we used to have.  However,  we still have ALOT ---and I hope you will enjoy seeing some of them today.

My favorites so far this year are TREFFER and MONTENEGRO.... Which one/ones are your favorites?

Sit back and enjoy the photos --and remember to click on them for enlargements.

Hope you enjoyed this set of Lilies...  I'll close with a photo of the beauty I see from inside our home ---looking outside at the Lilies!   Wish you could be here to SMELL them!!!

I love all of our flowers --with Roses being an all-time favorite,  but there's something very special about LILIES also...   Hope you have an incredibly marvelous day!

Betsy, all your lilies are so beautiful! I really like the lollypop lily colors. I also like to grow lilies and I found the deer and rabbits don't eat them (or at they haven't so far!) The view from your our window view is gorgeous!

The Madonna lily is my favourite. How lovely to look out of the window and see so many of them! Our daughter has just given us a lily for a wedding anniversary gift. This single plant will be treasured by us. I'm sure that you enjoy seeing all of your different varieties of lily.

They are all so pretty. I have one kind of lily in my yard and they are the typical ones you might see growing in ditches along country roads. Mine haven't bloomed yet this year though

I am a huge orange and red fan so Red Twinkle really caught my eye. I am always amazed at the variety you have. Just lovely. My compliments to you and your gardener George.

Your lilies are gorgeous! We had 2 or 3, but the deer wander through at night and sectively eat off the tops of just the lilies, so we've given up on those. What we do have is a lot of daylilies.

Truly spectacular lilies! You composed them so beautiful and the sunlight enhanced a lot in the last pictures. I go with lollypop (it looks like painting) and rosella :)

Do all of these have the sweet fragrance like the Stargazer lily?
I love smelling those. So sweet how your flowers give you and endless array of beauty....starting with the early bloomers all the way through the summer....
So sweet!
Do y'all have a separate well for watering your yard and flowers?
Always Beautiful!!

Wowza; you have quite the selection of Lillies. THAT is a view I would never tire of seeing.

I think if I had a lovely country style home like yours I might have a better collection of flowers in the garden. I love in a rental home in a very typical street of houses. the cookie cutter kind. But I can admire yours.
