Hybrid Tea Roses

I've talked quite a bit about the roses in our yard. We have 48 different bushes and as of today, 38 of them have bloomed, most with many blooms. Wish you could stop by and see our roses!!!! They are just gorgeous! Today, I'll show you 12 more. You'll have to pick out your favorite ones. They all are gorgeous --and it really depends upon the smell (since George buys fragrant roses) and the size (I love the large roses). I especially love the ones which are multi-colored ---and the ones which change colors as they age. Awesome!!!!

Above is a beauty appropriately named ABOUT FACE. NOTE how this one is one color on the bottom--and another color on the top. Most of our bushes look like this one, being full with many blooms. Below are others! Hope you enjoy them! Be sure to click on them --to make them larger.

APRIL IN PARIS

BELLA'ROMA

BRIGADOON

GEMINI

RADIANT PERFUME

FRAGRANT CLOUD

GLOWING PEACE

STRIKE IT RICH

MEDALLION

PARADISE

PEACE

Come and see us!!!!! We'd love for you to see and SMELL our roses. Thanks to my Sweetheart for working hard and taking such great care of his 'babies'---so that "I" can enjoy them!!!!

Hugs,

Hi Betsy, All the roses are beautiful and I know how much care they require. George has done a magnificent job! My favorite would be Glowing Peace. Hoping you both enjoy the day.

I have a special place in my heart for the Fragrant Cloud as a home health patient of mine from years ago grew them and always had several cut for me when I'd come to see him. I can close my eyes and smell it right now. :c)

Your place must smell "Marvelous"
I have found the best roses are tended by men. Must be something like "grilling" which is a man specality also.
Like Strike it Rich though it is an impossible choice.
Want to thank you so much for your wonderful comment yesterday. I could feel the warmth and it helped me during a stressful time.
Mighty's surgery is today. Keep the good thoughts coming. Thank you.

You neighbors must love being next to you. I can only imagine how fragrant and lovely it must be!! (I love all the roses, but I love the name, April in Paris--seems to match.

It's hard to pick a favorite, but I choose "About Face" because it looks so pretty with the different colors. George does a fantastic job taking care of all of the roses and you are so sweet to share them through your pictures and words.

It would be so hard to pick a favorite one, since they are all just gorgeous. I admire the time and dedicated it takes to grow roses, especially in the heat of summer. What a delight to be your neighbor, experience all of the beauty, and none of the work !
Thank you for letting us share them with you, and I'm convinced my computer smells os roses now ;)

I wish I could come see and smell all those gorgeous roses. Gosh, hard to pick a favorite so I'll go for favorite names... first, Glowing Peace and then Fragrant Cloud... I think... oh, phooey, they are all just divine.

Caught up on your trip to NC... one of my favorite places in the whole planet (at least what I've seen of it). That mountain laurel is something else. So nice it was chilly enough for a fire and lap blankets on the porch... and yes, coffee is a must. You must have been talking and talking the same time Marmee and I were talking and talking endlessly.

Never had roses. Have one red one here, and one white one in Rockwood (which I will be getting a start of for home). Your post and George's make me want roses. They are absolutely gorgeous! Don't have the time for roses until Jimmy retires and comes home. I can't even begin to take care of this place.
