Like the Tulips, it is a good year for Lilies... Hope you enjoy seeing some of ours. Above is FREEDOM'S GLOW (the orange ones).. Below are more!
MADONNA
One of my favorites, named GARDEN PLEASURE
JUANITA
I love this group also, which is named REGALE
TREFFER
Thanks to my Sweetie for taking all of these beautiful pictures. He also has been totally in charge of the yard for the past month --since my knee pain and surgery. He has truly had his hands full --taking care of ME along with all of the flowers!!!! Let's all give George some HUGE Kudos today!!!!! Hope you enjoyed seeing some of our Lilies.
Have a great weekend. I am doing okay--but am still recovering. I'll blog again on Monday morning.

Such sweet flowers, I love the Madonna one, but they are all truly gorgeous.
Lots of hard work involved, in keeping your flowers so beautiful,my hat is off to your gardener ;)
Kudos to George! And I hope you continue in your recovery.
Beautiful Lilies. Mine are taking their time in blooming--but soon.
Isn't it nice to have a man around that can take charge and get stuff done.
YAY, George!! MB
They are all beautiful Betsy. Glad you are on the mend. Take it easy and let your body heal. :c)
George is doing a fantastic job of taking care of you and everything else, you are truly blessed, Betsy. And you deserve it, my friend. You would do the same thing for him. You and George are like two beautiful hearts beating as one.
All of your lilies are lovely, just like you two!
be well, be happy ;)
I am always amazed at how you remember the "names" of your lilies and roses. Mine go under the grand name of "Ditch".
Sending a big hug to George (with your permission) for being such a sweetie.
These are gorgeous, Betsy! I can just smell them! Loved the Madonna one!
Glad you are getting better!

You are truly blessed to have George!
Love your lilies!!
We have day lilies but they are the only ones that are hardy where we live.
I hope you have some relief soom Betsy, it's miserable being in that much pain for so long and we all know it could be worse but it doesn't help when the pain is bad!!!! I know this from my hips. There was nothing life threatening but it hurt like h**l!!!! People telling me it could be worse didn't help!!
These are all so beautiful.
I had no doubt that George would take good care of you and the house.
Rest up.
Hugs, Suz
Good morning, Betsy. Glad to hear you are recovering.
Your lilies are lovely. They are one of my favorites. So easy and rewarding.
Marnie
Good for George.
Your lilies are beautiful. I can't wait for my Stargazer lilies to bloom but we're probably 6 week behind you. Have a great day, Diane
Beautiful shots from George, take care Betsy, you will soon be running around.lol.
Thanks George. I admire the way the photos turn out so perfectly. There's a lot I need to learn!! Hope the recovery time will be over soon so you can be yourself again.
I love the Garden pleasure too. A combination of colors pink and white is great.
Let's give George an applause. Great job!
I am glad to know that you are having less pain now. I read about it at George's blog.
Have a great weekend!
I never tire of seeing your beautiful flowers. I just cannot imagine the true beauty of your yard. You two must have the greenest thumb around.
You and I have both been thinking alike with the lilies!! Actually my favorite picturs is REGALE, because of the water drops George caight all hanging from the bud so beautifully! What's going on with your recovery, I sense something. Have you had to use a cane or anything to help youi get around? I needed a walker for about four days.
The variety of lilies is almost unbelievable! The Easter lilies have a very strong fragrance; just wondering if all of these do as well. They are beautiful and George took great shots of them showing off their finery!
So glad you have George to look after everything and that you are on the mend! I'm sure he is glad to do it, even though it is all a lot of work! Be blessed George!
Hope you are completely well soon! Have a great week-end!
Oh my goodness... more beautiful flowers. I just love lilies!!
Double kudos to George!! While I missed your lovely roses today, I do love lillies--yours are magnificent!
Have a wonderful weekend. Ours is going to be HOT and HUMID but I won't complain after all the coolness we've had.
Best,
Bonnie
Kudos to George! He does a great job. The lilies are beautiful.

Shelley
I'm glad you are taking it easy and letting George take care of you and the flowers. I'm sure he's keeping your little birdie friends well fed too.
He's a good man.
Beautiful pictures. I love the waterdrops on the lily.
♥ Joy
Mine are blooming now too-but I think yours are much prettier : ) Hope you continue to get better!!
Everyone of the blooms are gorgeous. What a great job George has done with all the flowers, you must be treated to bright colors everywhere you look. I hope you are coming along with the knee situation. Thinking of you and sending you a big hug!
I love the Madonna one. Very pretty - Now are these the individual lilies that grow on stems that have leaves shooting out all the way up the stem like barbs? They are different from day lilies right?
I have day lilies and the spread in a very annoying way!
Love your pictures! I am a new follower!
I love Lillies and need to feature mine next week. They're just so beautiful and easy to grow. Have a great weekend.
Hello Betsy, Sorry to hear about your knee surgery but I know George is taking good care of you. These photos of the lilies are very pretty. I believe Madonna is my favorite. Hope you both have a nice, restful weekend.

Those lillies are gorgeous! I love the colours of all the flowers. I hope you recover from knee surgery soon! That sounds painful and immobilizing.
Hi, Betsy! Your lilies are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you, George, for taking such good care of your flowers and for taking such good care of my friend, Betsy. You are both very special people.
Love the color of the third photo! So beautiful. I like the rain drops as well. We have the orange ones in our yard.
Hope you feel better soon!
Betsy: It was a Pleasure seeing the Garden lilies. I like that one best.
George did a fantastic job photographing the flowers. They are beautiful. I hope you're feeling better and the knee is healing well.
Thank goodness for George! :-)
Hope you continue to heal, Betsy. Your flowers are all so pretty. I don't know how you could ever pick a favorite.
These are all so beautiful...I can't pick a favorite...I have one very similar to Juanita.
I am so glad you are on the mend...I hope you feel better and more yourself each and every day.
Wish you a speedy recovery. Take care.
Kudos to George and bless you both for sharing those beautiful lilies. I tried to pick a favourite but each one was more stunningly beautiful than the last! I trust your knee is healing and you're having a rest! Thanks for the comment on my post. Yes, those soccer match horns are HORRIFIC. I wish the organizers would ban them during matches (blow before, in interval and after) but while play is on the go, be quiet. We South Africans are reasonably used to the vuvuzelas but this is horrific. I struggle to hear the commentating. One reason is my hearing (!) a second is that we have an airconditioner, two ceiling fans and a desk fan going full tilt AND the horns! There may be protests in the papers or over telly tomorrow. Have a blessed day. (((Hugs))) Jo
Beautiful :-)
Enjoyed seeing George's photos, Betsy, as well as reading your posts. You make a good team! I'm a new reader having found your blog from another one I follow and post on...just can't remember which one (maybe Artic View?) Hope you recovery continues and how nice to have such an attentive and caring mate (just like myself).
I plan to return again and invite you to drop in and visit our blog..

We live on theVA eastern shore and are almost neighbors and drop-in back porch visitors are always welcome...Dorothy (aka Beatrice).
Whoops forgot to wish to add in my previous long comment that I totally agree with your comments about blog awards and we also do not want to participate in or pass on for the reasons you stated. Where did you get the graphic and wording...did you create it?
Thanks :-)
