Oh How I love Autumn

Dear Blog Friends/Family,   2015 was one of the most gorgeous years we've had --when it comes to beautiful Fall Colors... Every year is different due to 'conditions'  ----but while looking for some pretty Fall pictures,  I think 2015 was one of the BEST!!!!

Hope you enjoy these photos today....  I wrote an explanation on EACH picture.  Just "Mouse Over" and you'll get more information.... Enjoy!!!!

I'm not sure what our colors will be this Fall here --but George and I are headed to the Smokies and to Cherohala Skyway soon hoping to see more of this beauty up there this year.....

Hope you have a great week!!!!  Get out and smell the air and take a walk.... I need to get away from the computer and NEVER listen to the news---and just enjoy the beauty all around me.... Life for many of us is so depressing... Covid will NEVER end here it seems,  and the upcoming election will be unfair and inaccurate NO matter who we vote for.  There's nothing but corruption going on in our Government and in our terrible media.  As my motto on here says:  Surround yourself with positive people!!!!   For me,  it's all about attitude.   I'm trying ---with God's help!!!!  Pray for our country!!!

Hugs,

Betsy💝💛💚💕

Stunning colors in the Fall foliage and I hope you all see this kind of beauty this year. I agree Betsy....the upcoming election is going to be very different from what we have ever witnessed before. We have already voted and now, I would like to escape somewhere far away from the news media, the ads, the ugliness of what is happening. This Country needs stability in our Government and our Government needs the Lord.
Have a Blessed day.

These are all wonderful and that one with the trees reflected in the water is gorgeous. We're supposed to have a lot of rain this week so I'm guessing that it will knock down a lot of the color.

Hi Betsy - not listening to the news is a good idea. There never seems to be good news... I love these fall leaf pictures. Autumn is such a beautiful time of year. Hope you have a good week and enjoy your trip.

I always enjoy your beautiful pictures!!! I had heart surgery replacing a leaking mitral valve the end of August. I have really progressed well (thank the Good Lord) and was back to driving in three weeks and now doing Cardio Rehab. Good exercises. I feel the same way you do about the election and the media so I don't listen either. I have better things to do but I will vote when it comes time and keep praying for a vaccine. Nature always lifts my spirit so I will enjoy the fall colors too. Hope you and George have a wonderful trip.

You definitely got some gorgeous photos back in 2015. I hope we see some great color like that this year.

Those are some of the best Fall colors I have seen in a long time. I am right there with you about all this Covid and election stuff. I thank God every day for my friends and Church. I also ask God to Bless the USA

Good Morning Betsy! I hope you have a wonderful trip and find some more of these beautiful fall colors. Thank you for sharing with us this morning.
I agree re the news and the election. Sometimes I feel as though we've moved to a third world country. When did harming other people for no reason and burning buildings, etc. become okay?
We've followed the rules and gone nowhere hoping that by the holidays COVID would be a bad memory and now it seems that is in jeapardy. I haven't seen ANY of our family since last September and I miss them. Our son's wedding in London has been postponed...twice, because we can't get into the country and he wants his Dad to do the wedding. It's all a nightmare that won't go away. Good for you in getting away. I wish we could.
Blessings and a virtual hug,
Betsy

Betsy, This should be a good year for autumn colors along the Cherohala Skyway, that's for sure. We too love the fall season. You are right about the outcome of the election. Even if it is accurate and votes are counted properly, the ultra right or left, whichever loses, will claim fraud or worse. I still watch the news...and try to balance what they're 'reporting'. I do not watch the 'talking heads' that pretend to be reporting the news. In the long run, I'm a bit more optimistic but time will tell. Stay Safe and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Each of these scenes is gorgeous. Some years have just so much more color than others.

We are seeing the colors earlier than last year. I think it will be a colorful autumn! Fortunately we live close to some lovely places.
