Our Daffodils --Part II

If you missed yesterday's post, click HERE. Today, I'll show you six more of this year's Daffodils in our yard. Above is a neat little pastel Daffodil called EASTER BONNET. Below are more.

Love this reddish trumpet; This is DECOY.

We think this one is COPPER QUEEN because of where it is in our flowerbed... BUT--it's not exactly the color that it's supposed to be. Don't know if our soil may have changed the color --but the 'real' Copper Queen is supposed to be more orange--all over... Who knows!!!!

This one is similar to Decoy, except the trumpet is more of an apricot color. This Daffodil is new this year and her name is MON CHERIE.

LAS VEGAS

This one is named TAHITI. It is similar to Replete (in yesterday's post) --except the color is different. Isn't it pretty??

Hope you enjoyed seeing our Daffodils. There are two more which have not bloomed yet (Romance and Pink Radiance). IF they bloom, I'll show them at another time.

If you liked the Daffodils, I'll bet you will enjoy seeing our Tulips also..... Of course that will be another post.

Hugs,

Just amazing the colours and variety. you are very organised to know what you planted where and remember all the names. I'm hopeless at that,

Did they come from Breck's?

I wish I had such a nice selection. I'm adding new ones each year so soon I will have a variety. I was outside at 6am today snapping photos of mine. I get home so late there is never enough light to get pictures.

Aren't these all so lovely. Daffodils are one thing the deer seem to leave alone. Yours are so gorgeous.

I vote for Mon Cherie, too! Love the layered look and the color. But they are all so beautiful . . . each like a ray of sunshine - which is also a good description of your posts!

I've been looking forward to this post! I must say that Tahiti is my favorite! Again, because it's a little different from the shape of a daffodil and I love the cheery color! I'm hoping to be a much better flower identifier now that I read your blog. I do have several flower guide books, but they are so tedious to thumb through when you are trying to identify a flower of shrub. I'm also waiting for an update on the whippersnapper chickadee homewreckers. I saw your comment on someone else's blog that there's now some grass in the nest!

Betsy - Great pics, it's like looking thru a bulb catelog.

My compassion for the plain, ordinary daffodil is certainly growing! How can she compete with all these amazing beauties???? But on the other hand, maybe she feels like a grandmother, totally proud of her bevy of beauties of younger offspring! LOL Loved all your pics!

I loved the Mon Cheri and Tahiti! Of course all the daffodils were beautiful but the two of them caught my eye.

More Daffodils, each more beautiful than the last. How do you keep track of all the names? However you do it I am impressed.

Love Mon Cherie!

very VERY PRETTY!!! Dear Hubby told me today that I have to plant daffodils this fall so we have some bloomers next spring. I informed him that I've planted them before; but the squirrels or something keep getting my bulbs on me. I guess I'll just have to keep on trying until I succeed ... like you!!

I have most of those in my yard but didn't know their names as they were already here. Love the Easter Bonent! Ours are past bloom now and it is sad - I had vases of daffodils for weeks!

Yesterday and today's post are both so pretty. Isn't it nice to have so many different types of daffodils. All the better since they are blooming before most other flowers.
