More from Fall Creek Falls

Here's another set of photos from our trip on Sunday with family to Fall Creek Falls (about an hour southwest of here). If you want to see more pictures from Fall Creek Falls (since it is a VERY special place to George and me) --look on my sidebar on the right and find labels. Click on FALL CREEK FALLS listed under the Labels.

Above is a picture taken from the lodge looking across the lake. See those people out there in a rowboat???? Ready to go???? It looked like SO much fun!!!! More pictures are below.

Here we are --after a delicious buffet dinner. George took this picture of us. At the head of the table is Wes. On the left is John, Carol and Bonnie. And on the right is Darlene and me.

I love this picture showing the green evergreen and the red Fall colors.

Now let's enjoy the yelllows of Fall.

You can see Fall Creek Falls in the lower right corner--but I took this picture to show some of the Fall Colors along the gorge.

George took this picture of us ---standing VERY close to the Cascades.

George and I are on our way to Tallulah Gorge in Georgia today. I will have the laptop---so I'll catch up when possible (and when I have a signal in those mountains).

There will be one more post (using timer) tomorrow from Fall Creek Falls.

Hope you all will have a great week. I'll get back with you when I can.
Hugs,

P.S. I apologize for not clarifying that "Nanner Puddin" is nothing more than Banana Pudding--Southern Style (with all of the calories shaken OUT).... ha ha ha.... I thought everyone knew what "Nanner Puddin" was!!!!! My My!!! This ole' southern gal is 'lahrning'.....

  33. I used to visit relatives in Trenton, Georgia (about 15 miles from Chattanooga) years ago, but the old ones passed on, and I was never close to the young ones. Besides, I live in Oregon now, and it's a bit of a long way to go, about 2,500 miles in fact.

    ReplyDelete
  34. P.S. Since you love waterfalls, you really MUST visit Oregon. I think we must have about one per resident here. Course, they flow over lava instead of over limestone or sandstone. Such a different place but beyond beautiful nonetheless.

  35. LOL! Glad my nanner puddin question made you smile. I really never heard of that! and I went to school in the south. Well, I call VT the south cuz I'm from the north!
Love those fall pictures. The first one looked more like summer for a minute. And I can't believe you guys are all wearing short sleeves still!
    Have a good trip :)

I guess anyone outside of the south doesn't know about Nanner Puddin, I didn't know banana had a 'b' until I got to high school, lol.
