More of our 2009 Hybrid Tea Roses

This is the last group of this year's Hybrid Tea Roses in our yard. As I've mentioned several times in many posts, we have 48 different rose bushes in our yard this year --and out of the 48, there are 46 different varieties. In order to see more of our roses click HERE. They are scattered out in several different posts.

Today I will show you the last ten (plus one that I've showed before). Above is a new one for us this year, and it was the last rose to bloom. Its name is FREDERIC MISTRAL. Below are nine more.

GRANADA

ELLA

MON CHERI

WHITE LIGHTNIN'

TAHITIAN SUNSET

MIDAS TOUCH

SUNDANCE

PERFECT MOMENT

And my favorite of this group, DREAM COME TRUE

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

George took this picture yesterday of another of our favorites (which I have featured before). This is DOUBLE DELIGHT and I just HAD to share it again with you since it can just take your breath away.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

And finally, I just couldn't end today's post without showing you a picture of Gorgeous Daddy Bluebird --which I took yesterday when he was making the rounds to and from the feeder. He and his woman are feeding their four newborns. I figure the little guys will fledge about July 25.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing all of our roses, and of course the Bluebird.
I don't know which I love the most: the Roses or the birds.... Hmmmmmm.... hard decision!!!!

Hugs,

  6. Oh, Betsy, your yard must be a very sweet fragrance throughout right now. I can't even imagine trying to nurture all those roses. I surely hope you have been cutting them and putting them in vases all over your home. So very beautiful ... every one of them.

    The bluebird is one I covet. We just don't see them here but you have a whole family. Very exciting stuff in your garden!

  7. I really like your roses, Betsy. Some are much nicer to me than others and some remind me of hollyhocks in their color.

    Your visit will count and help me Make History.

  21. Just gorgeous! I wish I could commit to the care they need. I tried, but I just couldn't do it. Blackspot won out every time. We are going with old roses this trip around, maybe they will do better for us.--Randy

  28. Hello Betsy,

    All of the roses are divine!!! I hope to establish a rose garden at some point. I've always wanted to make rose petal jelly and jams. :0)

    Thanks for dropping by for a visit..I'm waiting on the call from my carpenter as to the status of relocating the kitchen..it's really not that big of a deal since it's in a corner of the great room and I'm reusing some of the cabinets and the appliances.

    Have a great day,
    Stephanie

  33. Those Ella was the pretties, then changed to White Lightening, then Perfect Moment, then Dream Come True. Maybe this is why I don't have roses, I wouldn't be able to decide which one to buy. I have also decided we have too much wind for roses at New Market. Have to plant them where the house blocks some of the constant wind.
