My prayer request today is for ME. I have done something to my left knee (the same one I had Meniscus Surgery on in 2010). It hurts like CRAZY.... I can barely walk. Am going to the doctor today.. Please say a prayer or send some happy thoughts to me please!!!!!
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving Week... Take some time to hug those you love and keep an ongoing list of all of your blessings. We ALL have so many, don't we?
God Bless All of you.
Hugs,

HI Betsy So sorry to hear about your knee. I do hope the doctor can give you some pain relief and that it is nothing to . Now the Rose buds are all lovely and remember George has shown us many of them in full bloom. I also remember that I like the Ronald Regan one and it is also lovely in bud. Hope all goes well at the doctors. let us know what happens.
ReplyDeleteOh Betsy! done! prayers, positive thoughts, whatever it takes dear girl.
ReplyDeleteCan't have you down for long, there's waterfalls waiting out there!
Even before I read what you said, Soft Whisper was my choice and making choices in your garden is very difficult indeed!
What a joy to wake up and see those beautiful rose buds. I will certainly be thinking of you this week and praying that it is nothing too serious.
ReplyDeleteSome pretty rosebuds and my favourite is Pink Promise. So sorry to hear of your painful knee and will lift you up in prayer for relief from the pain and for healing.
ReplyDeleteBetsy, I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with your knee. Sending my prayers! Your roses are all gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou two have such a beautiful and wonderful collection of roses. They must be such a joy to see when in bloom and so exciting to watch for each year.
ReplyDeleteLove, hugs and prayers for your knee. Do keep us posted and have a lovely Thanksgiving yourself.

Picked the very last of my rose buds today. We have had two freezes but they were still hanging on. Too early to prune them back. Will wait until cold dreary February.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite of these is the Perfect Moment then Ronald Reagan then Summer Surprise. But they're all gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI will lift you up in prayer--and your knee. I go tomorrow to the doc for a cortisone shot in my left shoulder---that dern arthritis!

ReplyDeleteI will think of you, we are not the type to be grounded. I have Voltaren Gel that is a prescription NSAID that helps some times, and a brace. I had two surgeries on my right knee. I agree with the Ronald Reagan, I had one at the cabin.MMMMM ahhhhh when one smells these lovelies. Have a nice holiday, I am still rounding up food for our pantry.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely loved the roses! Each exhibits an elegant beauty of their own... very sorry for your painful knee Betsy. This reminds me my fracture i went through last year and it was terrific and being close to knee each move gets hurt. Hope you get relief soon, and pls take care

Betsy, please e-mail me about the doctor!! I will be gone most of the day, but we will chat tonight when I get home. I am guessing there will be scans and X-rays scheduled first, so no decisions yet. SO sorry!! You know I never get tired of seeing your house in every season. SO your header is my favorite today!!! Your beautiful yard and house. And what a TREAT, only BUDS, I love it!! Summer Surprise and Peace are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteP.S. What will you and George be doing for thanksgiving?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of rose buds you have acquired! I don't know how you remember all the names. I do love rose buds. Well, I love roses whether they are in bud form or full bloom.
ReplyDeleteBetsy, I hope you get some relief soon. Maybe a cortisone shot is needed, or perhaps some fluid has built up in the knee. Keep us in the loop. Hugs...
I am praying! The knees are so weird and I hate when they give us a fit! Years ago I saw a young doctor who said just keep moving them! But sometime they just want to be difficult. Argh.....Many blessings to you and George and lots of prayer for you.
ReplyDeleteLove the roses but Welcome Home and the Apricot one are making me really smile. Hugs, Anne
Every rose is beautiful but I have always been drawn to the old fashion rose for the fragrance.
ReplyDeleteKnees, dear old knees. So fragile, yet so necessary. Sorry you are in pain and I hope it is something minor.
