Playing in the TULIPS

George and I made another trip to one of our favorite places,  the Biltmore House and Gardens in Asheville,  North Carolina,  on April  16, 2013 in order to see some of their Spring flowers,  specifically the TULIPS...  AND--we weren't disappointed... Above is a photo we took of us in the Walled Garden, near those beautiful tulips.  Be sure to click on the photos for enlargements.

Here is a picture I took from the  arbor (walkway between the gardens in the Walled Garden).  Isn't this just gorgeous?

Here is a close-up of some of the flowers  (there are others besides tulips) along both sides of the arbor.

I love looking at the gardens through one of the oval windows...

Now I'll share with you several other photos with no explanation.  Hope you enjoy seeing more of the TULIPS --from different areas of the gardens.  (NOTE also that there were LOTS of people around that day.  I love zapping them OUT of my photos!!!! ha)

Hope you enjoyed seeing all of the Tulips today!!!  We have had quite a few in our yard --but not nearly as many as Biltmore... WOW!!!!!

There is one more photo which I hope you have seen.  It is from my Photo Blog --and showed the Walled Garden at Biltmore from a distance (from the hill we climbed up on beside the gardens).  Click HERE to see that photo now that you have seen the tulips up close.

We did see other beautiful flowers on this latest trip to Biltmore --but that will be in another post!!!!

Hope you have a great weekend.  I will see you on Monday!

Hugs,
