ROSES in our YARD 2013

PEPPERMINT SPLASH ROSE
I am featuring my favorite flower,  our ROSES,  today in celebration of my 71st birthday (which is Monday, August 5)... Since I'm taking a week off from blogging next week to celebrate and have some fun ---AND get some things done here,  I will celebrate my birthday a few days early with you!!!!!!!  Hope you enjoy seeing more of our beautiful ROSES.   I am a blessed woman to have all of these in our yard--and inside (when George brings one in for me each day).

As most of you know by now (since I talk about it constantly),  we have 57 different varieties of Hybrid Tea and Grandiflora Roses in our yard... This has been a good year for all flowers ---including the Roses.  We've had a cooler summer than normal and a wetter one... SO---overall,  the Roses have done very well...

I've already published two other blog posts showing some of our roses this year.   Click HERE  and/or HERE  to see the other posts.   Today I'll share with you  12 more of our Roses... Hope you enjoy them --almost as much as I do!!!!!!  BUT--that would be impossible since I love them very very very very very much!!!!!!!  Thanks to George for taking such good care of his babies ---and sharing them with me!!!

Be sure to click on the photos for enlargements.... The one above is one of our most unique roses ---and each bloom is a little different from the last one...Don't you think that the name is appropriate????

MOONSTONE ROSE

SUNDANCE ROSE

BEWITCHED ROSE

PEACE ROSE

DEEP SECRET ROSE

SWEETNESS ROSE

SWEET FREEDOM ROSE

TIFFANY ROSE

SOUTHERN BELLE ROSE

MEMORIAL DAY ROSE

PINK PROMISE ROSE
Can you pick a favorite one from this group?  Mine are Peace,  Moonstone and Peppermint Splash ---although I love Pink Promise also....  Guess I just love them all.

Hope you  have a wonderful week ---and don't forget to celebrate on Monday with me.   Join me on Facebook also since I will be posting on there next week.   I'll get back to blogging on Monday,  August 12.

Hugs,

I saw one today at SAM'S that was personalized with individual pictures....Something to enjoy all year round. It's probably a good thing that I'm not your neighbor. I love to arrange flowers and I would constantly be over there, snipping all those pretty blooms! Lol.

You are correct about the weather being cooler this summer. On one of our utility bills, it shows the temperature averages for this year and last year and there was a definite difference. I am thankful it has been a bit cooler!
