Moon, Sun and BABY BLUEBIRDS
Besides enjoying the beach, the seafood and the waterfalls on our vacation to Ocean Isle Beach, we also captured a beautiful sun late one afternoon, as it was beginning to set. AND--even better than that, we had a full moon over the water several nights when we were there. Now--just isn't that ROMANTIC????? Wow!!!
Here are some photos from our trip. I don't think they need any explanation!!!! Just be sure to enlarge them for a better view. Hope you enjoy!
George was playing around with his camera. He didn't have his tripod with him---but I just LOVE this picture. It almost looks like a painting... Neat, huh????
Let me introduce my Bluebird babies!!!! I think they are a couple of days old--but yesterday was the first day I took a peak!!!!! Sorry the photo is a little blurry. Next time, I'll use George's good camera. They are pink and SO tiny. They have no feathers yet ---but two of them have their mouths open waiting for Mama and Daddy to come and feed them. There are four babies in all!!!! Aren't they just awesome?????? OH---I wish all of you could see them. They are just so tiny right now...I can peak at them until May 25 or 26.. After that they will be too large for me to open the nestbox. They will leave the nest anytime between May 29- June 3... It all happens fairly fast!!!!
Hugs,
P.S. My baby turned 38 yesterday... It's hard to believe since he was just a baby a FEW years ago!!!! ha... Happy 38th Jeff. I love you!!!

Beautiful 'romantic' vacation pictures Betsy. I do like the fuzzy one George took...sometimes the bad ones ARE good.
ReplyDeleteLove those babies...since you get them excited by peeking, you should have dropped in a worm or 2 or 4. ;0
Happy Friday!
Lovely shots, especially George's. Was it a filter? Or movement? Whatever he did to get that blurred and misty look is nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat scenes from your vacation.Yes this all sounds soo romantic.Perfect for you and George.

ReplyDeleteHi friend! Pictures are beautiful. I'd sure like to know how you did the one that looks like a painting. Glad to see your babies! I haven't seen mine since the day they fledged. It's looking like storms here in White House. Happy Birthday Jeff. Have a good weekend Betsy.
ReplyDeleteThe evening shots are so beautiful. Some day I'd love to have a camera that will take pictures like those without the noise.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, those sweet little babies are so cute! And tiny! How nice you got a pic of them to share!!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Jeff.......
Thanks for sharing the beautiful vacation photos and oh, those bluebirds are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh the baby birds are so sweet. You have to keep us posted on their development. Nature is truely amazing. Something from a tiny egg could grow into a flying bird in such a short time.
ReplyDeleteLove all the sky pictures. George's photo looks like a beautiful watercolor. Nice.
Loved all the waterfalls. It seems the falls out this way are way up in the mountains and I can't reach rhem. MB
How lucky that you and George had such a beautiful full moon to photograph. Romantic indeed!!
ReplyDeleteNice to see the bay birds developing. Yes, the bird world develops quickly, doesn't it?
I love that picture of George's; I am with you on it all the way. Looks like a painting by someone famous.
