I had friends there and drove over to visit as often as possible before moving to Alaska.<br /><br />I remember this lighthouse but at that time it had not been restored. The Waving Girl statue brought back memories of walks in that area of town. Your talk of the bugs also brought back memories, biggest mosquitoes I have ever seen and that includes the Alaskan bush. Mean suckers too!
