WELL---it's exactly what you 'may' have thought it was, a fancy "Port-a-Potty." Is that not hilarious???? I began thinking about this picture after reading MB's blog SMALL CITY SCENES recently. The title of MB's post was "Path to Necessity." She showed a picture of a trail which led to, as she called it, "the little house with the half moon." I was so amused at her post--and when I left a comment, I had to remind her that, back here in the hills of Tennessee, those necessity houses are called OUTHOUSES. (She did answer me later, saying that they are called outhouses in Washington state also.)
Anyhow, I decided to show my latest "Necessity House." The ROYAL RESTROOM in the picture above can be found at the beach in Tybee Island, GA (not far from Savannah). My three childhood girlfriends and I went on our annual "Getaway" this past October. We had rented a beautiful condo on the beach for a week. When we first walked into the condo and walked out on the big porch facing the ocean, what was the first thing we saw????? That Royal Restroom---right there between our condo and the ocean... The four of us laughed so hard and so long about that---and since nobody would have believed us, we all had to take pictures!!!!
Is that not just the funniest thing you have ever seen? It is a working potty--with doors for both men and women on the other side of the wall shown in the picture. Now--look at the picture one more time... Be sure and write that telephone number down. Royal Restrooms will provide their "Regal, Portable Restroom Experience" ---for your special events, festivals and weddings. I knew you'd want to know this!!!!! HAR HAR HAR
Have a wonderful day ---and be sure to plan a trip to Tybee, so that you can have a Royal Restroom experience yourself!!!!!
Hugs to All,
