The Truth about Hugs

A good friend sent me this-- so I thought I would share it with all of YOU.

THE TRUTH ABOUT HUGS
There's no such thing as a bad hug, only good ones and GREAT ones!!!

Hugs are non-fattening and they don't cause cancer or cavities!
Hugs are all natural with no preservatives, artificial ingredients or pesticide residue!
Hugs are cholesterol-free, naturally sweet, 100% wholesome---and they are a completely renewable resource!
Hugs are easy to care for, they don't require batteries, tune-ups or X-rays!

Hugs are non-taxable, fully returnable and energy efficient!
Hugs are safe in all kinds of weather.
In fact, Hugs are especially good for cold and rainy days.
AND--Hugs are exceptionally effective in treating problems, like bad dreams or Monday blues!!!

Never wait until tomorrow to hug someone you could hug today, because when you give one, you get one right back your way!!!!

Send someone special a HUG. I JUST DID---to YOU!!!!! Can you feel it??? I truly cannot thank each of you enough for your kinds words after the death of my brother. Besides all of the comments, I received cards, emails and even a poem. I feel so blessed to consider each of you as a very special friend. Thanks again!

Hugs to ALL,

Thanks for all the hugs, Betsy!! They can express more feeling than mere words! Jeep likes to say (as we are in each other's arms) "I wish I had me a woman that like to hug and snuggle, and I'd be the happiest man in the world!" That always gets a laugh from me. ☺
I'm sending {{{Hugs}}} back to you!

Big hugs right back at you. I read somewhere that a person needs 10 hugs a day to maintain *sanity*! Hug, hug, hug!

And a humongous hug to you, too, Betsy! I love that first sign. made me laugh. Hugs are a much better cure for sadness than prozac or anything else from the pharmacy.
You have George and all of your friends and readers to hug you. Your brother is luckier now. He has God to give him a big ol' bear hug. I hope that thought conforts you.

I am a hugger. I hug upon greeting and departing. Some people don't like hugs and they are stiff because maybe they don't know how to hug. I just hug them anyway. I feel the same as you Betsy - we have so many blog friends. I never had so many friends in all my life.
Bless you and George as I know you are missing your brother.

Growing up in a traditional Vietnamese family, my siblings and I were never really exposed to physical displays of affection that is more common in other cultures. It wasn't until my dad passed away that we've made more of an attempt o hug one another and say our "I love yous". These should be the first things all kids learn how to do in every culture!
